Stockholm Syndrome

I'm looking for a novel or a film (if it's a manga, it should be short) with one of the following two situations:
a) A man falls in love with a girl and kidnaps her. He doesn't treat her badly or anything (other than the fact that he's kidnapped her) and in fact, he idealizes her so much that she can do no wrong in his eyes. She should try to use this to her advantage, like trying to manipulate him so she can escape. She shouldn't fall in love with him, though (but if she does I guess I'll forgive you) but it would be nice if she would form some sort of sympathy for him.
b) A man kidnaps a girl for a reason that has nothing to do with her, such as ransom. He should treat her either rather coldly or just with indifference. Like she's just something he's got to deal with until he gets paid or whatever, and he doesn't really care what happens to her one way or another. This should remain throughout the story. He shouldn't fall in love with her at all (though if he does there's a small chance I maybe just might forgive you). She, however, should become completely attached to him. It can be in the form of platonic or lustful love, but either way, it should be strong enough that even though he doesn't ask her to or even necessarily want her to, she still helps him in the end (by warning him when the authorities are coming, or defending him in court or something).
I'd love something with one of the above two plots, but I guess the main elements I'm looking for are kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome, and unrequited love. If you can suggest something along those lines for me, I promise you my firstborn son (haha, no way, just kidding). But seriously. I'd really appreciate it.

I love this type of theme too 🙂
Red Eye film.
This fits your criteria for (b). Jackson Rippner held Lisa Reisert hostage in the plane, for some odd reason, you'll probably realized there's some 'chemistry' and sexual tension going on between the two of them [The movie has implied Stockholm and Lima Syndrome]. I think the main cast did well in portraying their characters...that's probably the reason why this movie has a lot of fanbase on fanfiction.net. Mind you, the movie only gets interesting after the plane takes off.
Once you've familiarized yourself with the movie. I recommend you to read these 'triology' fanfics..[ I see them as 'sequels' to the film]. Heavily implied Stockholm and Lima syndrome. Violence, mindbreak and realistic portrayal of rape.

Here are my other recommendations on Original fanfictions.
Stockholm- Romantic portrayal of Stockholm Syndrome.
The Twisted Chronicles of Sex slave- A realistic psychological portrayal of this phenomenon.
Published works:
Stolen- definitely fits criteria (a).
Living Dead Girl
I think they're both overrated when it comes to this type of genre, but they're still recommendable. I like them.
Enjoy 🙂

Red Eye looks really interesting. Thanks. I've read both Stolen and Living Dead Girl and liked them both, though Stolen would be more what I'm looking for.
@ mu2020
I'm looking for very specific requests. Most of the time when people request Stockholm syndrome stories, the characters fall in mutual love with each other. However, as I clearly stated, I want unrequited love. In fact, the kidnapping and unrequited love aspects are more important (in the first request anyway) then the Stockholm syndrome one. Also, as I also stated above, I'm looking for novels and films. I only want mangas if they are short, and referring me to threads doesn't help with that. I can't help but feel that you didn't actually read the post. If you did, I apologize and thank you for your effort. If you didn't, then please don't post unless you've actually read what someone is looking for. You can't tell just from the title (sorry if I sound harsh, but I hate being referred to threads unless they're more or less exactly the same as my thread).
Edit: Sorry, mu2020. that was pretty rude. I was in a bad mood. Thank you for making the effort of finding those threads for me. I'm sure there are some suggestions on them that I'd like.

Itoshi no Nina sort of fits, but really loosely haha...
(It's been a while since I've read it though, but I'm pretty sure there's a tiny bit of Stockholm Syndrome in it? But it takes a while to get to it. I defs know there's kidnapping though haha, sorry this probably isn't what you were after... -.-;; )
Second short story, "In a Falling Airplane". Not really love, but he does leave an impression on her.
Third short story, "The White House in the Cold Forest". Matches, though in a less exact sense.

100% Perfect Girl -- so she gets kidnapped pretty much all the time and as far as I can recall, there are at least two kidnappers who fall in love with her...
They, Too, Love -- in the last arc the girl gets kidnapped and it's kind of a combination of both of your requests...
She doesn't fall in love but feels some sympathy/pity for him and he doesn't kidnap her because he's in love with her or anything, but it seems like he does feel some sort of affection for her maybe... she does help him hide when the police come though.
