Well i was reading some manga and noticed, some rare authors that are like in a corner and never get like any comments or such,it's completely the opposite of Haruka Minami,Masara Minase,Naono Bohra,Yamane Ayano,Honjou Rei,Kaname Itsuki and more famous authors that you can always hear about.

But do you have any yaoi mangas made by authors that are rare and never talked about?~
i wanna know about what yu guys have,b/c some of these authors have amazing drawing talent, worthy of being recognized~ and its almost rare talk that you hear about them...i mean there must be hundreds of yaoi authors that you must not know about that are amazing~have you heard about these authors?~

Here are some rare mangakas that you probably haven't heard of,but their art is really amazing-i just recently read their mangas-

Lee
Mizukami Shin
Sakurai Shushushu
Hiiro Reiichi
Yukimura
Yamato Nase
Duo Brand

since I've read almost all the completed yaoi manga on this side, it's safe to say I've read the authors you mentioned (only Lee is unfamiliar).
and it's true, Yukimura's drawings are awesome!

I usually just read the manga that Liquid Passion and there affiliates release. Don't know if they have any of the authors that you have on that list.

Yamato Nase, Mizukami Shin and Sakurai Shushushu are rare? How did you come up with that? I don't know anyone who doesn't know who those mangaka are. (Duo Brand is mostly doujinshi still, so one would have to be into doujinshi more to discover them.)

Maybe it's just this forum... I agree with you that those are awesome mangaka though biggrin

Even if someone never learned their names, they must have at least read their most well-known works (Chintsubu, Rikara, and Vibrator Company respectively.) And if they didn't... what the hell are they waiting for?

I found Tohjoh Asami's stuff to be disturbing, although more thought-provoking than your average yaoi (except for Love Prism. That's definately not everyone's cup of tea.). Such a shame she's not too popular, but she's definitately not a mainstream yaoi mangaka.

As a side note I just found out she died in Oct 2007. May she rest in peace sad

I love all of them, and I wonder how can you say they're not famous? Their mangas are present everywhere, and a lot of them are scanlated. smile

Though they have many Yaoi manga but, those mangaka below are kinda unknown, for example:

Ishihara Satoru
Mutobe Ryo
Parco Shinsaibashi
Sakura Ashika
Sugahara Ryu
Toribito Hiromi
...

I think except for the content, the main reason is that their manga are not translated and scanlated, so readers who can't understand JP?Chinese often don't pay attention to their manga.

I'm bad with remembering names so I wouldn't know even if people are talking about my favourite mangakas unless I go and look them up. I still have those moments where I realize 2 or 3 of the manga I'm reading or had read come from the same mangaka.

I like Bikke, Minamino Mashiro and TAKABOSHI Asako. They don't have tall gangly, sparkle hot characters to that attract people's attention at first glance. The stories are cute.
