I really can't read an ongoing Adachi manga without knowing what to expect from the ending. H2 was just so, so devastating, lol. Anybody with me on this?

To me, H2 was by far his best work, and i've literally read ALL of Adachi's works, i'm a huge fan of his way of storytelling! 🤣

H2's ending was sooooo good! Not just the ending, all the hardships/happiness Hiro and the gang went through, not only in sports but also on the "slice of life" part, makes it a masterpiece! 😃

Touch and CG were amazing as well, but H2 is my favorite, followed by Katsu and Rough! 😀

Now, about Mix... I've got mixed feelings (pun not intended xD), it looks like Adachi is focusing more on the sports part than the slice of life! So far (ch38) there was no development between Touma and Otomi, so i'm not sure if he's actually fond of her as his sister or as his love, same thing goes to her, plus, he made it clear that he's not interested in Haruka, even if she's clearly interested in him!

I am a huge fan of Adachi's work and H2 and cross game are some of the best manga I read. H2 ending was really great for me and I still remember the feeling it stirred in me over the course of the story.
BTW does Mix require reading touch beforehand? Could not get into touch for some reason(possibly due to the main girl). Also can anyone suggest manga similar in style to Adachi's work.

H2 has his best ending, in my opinion. Touch is his series that I find the most overrated. Anyway, I'm really enjoying Mix since I'm not sure where Adachi is going with it...or I would be enjoying the series if somebody would actually translate the chapters. I'd be extremely happy if Adachi did not hook up Touma with his sister, as too many of his series have been ruined by disgusting incestuous pairings (Jinbe and Miyuki are the worst offenders, although it's not the incest isn't the biggest problem in Miyuki).

Same here. H2 was the only one I didn't like so far. I liked Cross Game, Touch , Katsu, etc etc.

Also to read Mix you don't need to read Touch. But why can't you get into touch because of the main girl? She has wavered but couldn't really go through with it all. In the end she remained stable and loyal.
