I actually used to sit next to someone kind of like this back in high school. When the school shootings happened the kid would say how cool it would be to just come to school with a shotgun and just start shooting people. To give you a look into this persons mindset he said he has a job and payed rent, when in reality all he did was vacuum his Mom's apartment and used his allowance from her to "pay rent".

I have been a closet Manga/Anime fan since, because the people I have come across that think/believe these types of stupid things were avid manga readers...

Trolls have lack of empathy or they're just plain retarded. It's people like her that makes us ashamed that they're also humans like us. 🙄

I hate 'em too - and yes they do try to be hard to ignore, and to rile us up. That's whay they need to be ignored. If we ignore them, then they fail in doing what they want to do. Our victory 🙂 If we pay attention to them, we're only doing what they want us too.

If I meet them, I really would rip 'em a new one, and a few more for fun - but I can't. So do what you can to make them feel like the dolts they are.

EDIT: Is there anything I can do for those in Japan? I really want to.

Its fake. She is an actress who has been impersonating fundamentalist Christians for a while. She made a video, admitting it was fake but she got so much hate that she deleted her account.

I admit I thought it was real, simply because I have met people exactly like the character she was doing.

you know whats sad? Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh (god I f***ing hate those people and hope they die in painful PAINFUL ways) made fun of Japan for getting hit by a earthquake and tsunami's and now the whole thing with the nuclear reactor screwing up, just like they made fun of Haiti for the earthquake that killed 300,000 people. And you know what's happening to these people? nothing, cause people in America who can oppose them don't have enough power to get them fired and makes me sick.

well there's a little thing called freedom of speech in America, and Glenn and Rush are known for saying extreme stuff, Glenn probably wont be around for long his ratings are crashing down. and honestly there's always going to be people like this in every tragedy trolling for fun just gotta ignore them and dont let them win by getting you all riled up

It's true. In the end it comes down to what beliefs you hold highest. I find empathy to be extremely important, but I consider the right to free speech to be more so, so, as much as it pains me, I am forced to defend the right of idiots like Beck and Limbaugh to say whatever they wish... and to hope that there's some sort of karma system working out there somewhere.

Freedom of Speech is a right - not a luxury. For your rights, you have to perform duties. You have to be an upstanding member of your society to truly desrve your rights. It's true that sometimes our view may differ, but coexisting despite differences and supporting those who need it is what makes us true citizens - of any democracy in the world. Life is terribly transient. Within months, that girl will be forgotten, but Japan's crisis will still exist, even if it comes under control. Lives will still have been lost. And anybody who can laugh at idea of lost lives, no matter what the reason, is not a true citizen - he/she is the sore spot in a society. They need to rethink their entire personality, their entire existence.

Amen! I was in the earthquake too, and it really breaks my heart that people say these disgusting things like about karma and stuff.

I don't wish an earthquake upon anyone, but you really don't understand the extent of it until you're actually in it. I continue to keep Japan in my thoughts! Hope you're doing alright.

When you have to "earn/deserve" your rights or they can be allowed/denied by someone else, they're called privileges. That's why there are very few true rights. Freedom of speech/expression is certainly not one of them.
