I'm having problems with the gender of the main character.

First, the author draws the main character, a guy, with boobs... More than that, he wears a dress, and even though he says he's manly he then pulls 180s and says he wants to be a girl. I don't know if the author's having issues sticking to his story, but this is really confusing.

If he's actually been a girl this whole time, that'd be even worse, considering it would be blatantly obvious to any character looking at him/her. I'm not sure what to think of this manga.
