If you happen to be a manga artist and you have a great series that you want to serialize, which of these magazines would you go to and why?
Personally, I would see some of my works on Weekly Shonen Magazine, mainly because it allows manga artists freedom with their work.

Looking at my manga list real quick it seems I read the most titles from Weekly Shounen Magazine so that's probably my favorite. (I don't read a lot from monthly magazines period it seems though).
That said, If I were a manga artist with a great manga, I'd pick Weekly Shounen Jump, because it has Naruto, Bleach and One Piece in it. Therefore it has the highest circulation. Therefore I would make the most money.
Tree + Taco = Tree taco.
jump for two reasons: its the only place i can see my mystery stories being published in and d gray man runs in it (best manga ever!)

Jump is hands down the most lucrative of the big three... although you can make it big in any of them if you have the right story.
Personally, I prefer reading the monthly shounen mags, though... they seem to allow more individualism and many of them tend to go into more serious subjects (relatively speaking). So if I was in it for the 'artistry' (who are we kidding NO ONE does anything for the artistry... people just say they do so that goth college students will respect them), I'd probably try to get into a Square Enix serial... or better yet, jump to seinen.

Too late. >:-( 🤣
I'd choose Jump because it seems that I'd have a better chance to get my story out there than the other two.
Although, I'd probably have to deal with idiot executives changing my story too much...

LOL. If I were going to write something, I'd chose Akane-Shinsha. But I'd like to work with Kodansha, too...

Ok for all you people wanting to have it in jump because of the big name ones you would be stupid cause a manga lives and dies by how well it does in the questionnaires so you would be competing against those big names, you do bad in them and you get cancelled and jump throws you out of their club,Say a big time manga artist does bad consecutively for a period and he gets canceled, then he has to start back as a complete no body so if you would want to pick a name you would want one that has less harsh competition cause lets face it your not gonna be the big 3 of jump

Well then, it's a real good thing that none of us are ACTUALLY considering doing it, huh? 🙄

If only because the person writing it isn't Japanese, otherwise, you'd have to have a bunch of tiddy shots to get even in a smidgen of trouble, amirite.
