It depends on how advanced the robot is. If it's like Chi from Chobits (impossible obviously) no. She/he needs to be treated like a human or it's robot racism. If it's only realistic at first glance but once you get close you can tell it's fake and it only has limited movements and responses and no feelings then it's no different from a toy.
