Currently looking for a manga or oneshot that I've forgotten to bookmark days ago.
Plot is the uke has an unrequited love towards his childhood friend. Because of this he got the hanahaki disease (basically choking on flowers bc of unrequited love). They are probably classmates, maybe?
The ending is that his love is finally reciprocated by his childhood friend.
I remember that the uke is the tsundere, megane type.
