i read ecchi when it has a plot. i read hentai once in awhile to...uhm, you know 🤣 , or maybe just out of curiosity (ever heard of that Mai-chan's Daily Life? 😛 ).
i don't like hentai, or anything that doesn't have a plot, because it is repetitive, and gets boring really fast.

my friends know hentai before they know ecchi. the first time they saw an ecchi, they got all hyped up and called it hentai. now that they know, they are really in to ecchi, since 1)it can be read when people are around and 2)most ecchi have comedy

i find porn to be boring after getting hooked with ecchi manga and hentai...
porn are too predictable, no storyline/ weak storyline, and they show the same thing each time without any creativity or entertainment value, just girl getting naked, screwed, pretending to be moaning, and the guy ejaculates. it becomes more and more boring after some time

It was the complete inverse for me. I started with porn about 17 years ago (when I was 13), moved to Hentai about 8-10 years ago, and started reading Manga in September.

This topic is foolish. Most boys seem to encounter porn around adolescence, because it's the most obvious source of naked females to masturbate to.
