I'm looking for a title (bunch of titles) where the plot basis on:

Hero (several heroes) hunt people who have superpowers/magic/something that gives them power/others, and they take away the source without killing people one by one.

My memory is super foggy here, but Busou Renkin might be in that vein. Might. It's been a looooooong time.
