god that was easily the best chapter in FT manga ever....

I'm sorry, all I can think about now is Sonic Adventure 2.

It was anticlimactic, but that was what made it good, it was different. It also sets up a fresh Sting to aid Natsu in saving everyone.

It was good, I wouldn't call it anticlimactic but fitting. Not everything satisfying ends with a big fight or somebody gaining more power. Oh and Ezra is an even bigger badass than ever.

It was more lame than fitting is what I felt, staring a opponent to submission when they are seriously injured and out of nakama powa (had to do it) and the reason was.....he felt something? Really?

That´s a good one... It was the worst FT chapter and one the worst chapters I´ve read in my life:
Sting is all fired up and then gives up ?!! that´s not even plot armor that´s just not trying and hoping people won´t make to much of ruckus about it

really? people are angry because sting didnt just beat up a bunch of half dead fairy tail members? (I still think Laxus and Erza combo could take him even half dead) Its quite simple he lost the will to fight them, he had already lost to Natsu and didnt care about the competition, but his only reason for fighting was to get back his cat (forgot his name). But when they stood there, willing to fight, probably die in the process without even a single thought of quitting or backing down, he choked, he lost the will to fight, it fit with the entire style of fairy tail, so why all the anger?

What anger, only one guy was really angry, I just felt it was lame and in Stings own word he said he felt some shady "radiance" and his reasoning for not fighting because he felt he was unworthy to face his cat friend so he decides to let him get killed by not doing the crazy chicks bidding, I know the cat was safe but he didn't know that....plus what got some people disappointed in my opinion is because some uber plan was foreshadowed and it ended into a staring submission after he went on and on ranting about his "newfound" powers. I do agree it is somewhat in fairy tail style but it was kinda excessive even by fairy tails standard.

Agreed with the sucky ending. This was more of an introduction to the next arc rather than an ending to this one. Sting was pathetic(well he always was, never seen him or rogue "cool" at any point in the story, they just go super saiyan and get brutally beaten up by natsu or gajeel). Erza went crazy....and it wasn't pandemonium crazy, it was just "im tired of this fight. Here, you can have this new armor that you've always had in reserve but never bothered to use because it's too strong". The gray and juvia vs lyon and chelia was even worse. First of all, out of all 4, the order from strongest to weakest goes like this: juvia, lyon, chelia, gray. Yes gray is the worst here. But teamwork? Since when did gray and juvia ever have teamwork? Lyon did nothing but say "no" to chelia every time she asked to help and somehow gray and juvia pulled off amazing moves.
All in all it was anticlimatic and it suuuuucked.
