Is a sad truth... but I am still awesome
rolf
when guys think that just cause im a girl, i cant do anything.
eg i got told off for lifting a 25kg bag of potatoes and got told to get a guy to carry it for me!! christ! thats only 55lbs...not even half the weight of a person!!
WOW, I know guys that can't even lift that!!! "REALLY", If I see you are doing fine, then I will just offer my help or give tips of how to distribute the weight... nothing wrong with a girl that likes to work ^.^

I hate it when guys get defensive about their 'manliness' or feel the need to display it by acting like an idiot.
I also dislike it when men act overtly chivalrous.
I appreciate kindness from anyone, but guys often over-do it (in my case, at least?). Yes, your weight is probably more than twice mine, but I'm holding the door for you, so just hurry up and go through instead of trying to take it from me. Things like that happen to me all the time 😔

i find it annoying when anyone holds the door for anyone else (including me), most people just do it because they want to hear "thank you" while they are unaware thats why they are doing it...
Could you girls/women give a formula of a good guy?
Or just a formula of a sucky one.
Just as a reference to all those guys out there who
are trying too hard and end up making fools of themselves.
(No, I don't even try.)

well im not a female and i dont even like males but im pretty sure they would like a male that treats them as an equal, offers to help with things around the house but if the female rejects him then he doesnt insist she isnt good enough to do it alone, he should be polite but not to the point of some sort of saint, not intimidating, not lazy... ill try to think of more if you want but i think that covers everything you should know

...Be honest, act normal 😕 And treat women as equals.
@wotonito
I hold the door out of sheer habit. I don't do it for self-gratification either. I'll hold the door for someone and hopefully, they hold the door for others as well. Simply raised that way.

Just laying down the basics...
Good Guy Formula: Funny + caring + honest = 🙂
Sucky Guy Formula: Brags too much + arrogant/big ego/self-centered + tries to hard = >:-(
Basically, I don't really care about their heroic stories & how awesome they were.

Same here... I don't get thank you's, I just do it because that is how I was raised.
when they were cool but get bitchy as soon as they start relationships with you or your friends. especially underclassmen. its like they think that by dating a senpai, they get some kind of special deal that gives them greater status. this happens in men too but i see it in women mostly
