I vaguely remember this being brought up before, but maybe i'm mistaken.

In any case: Is it possible to make the Year field on Manga page restricted to a numeric value? (make it an integer or something) It would be even better if it only accepted 4digits.

I've seen the year being input as "December 2", "08" and "N/A"(not the automatic n/a, someone actually wrote N/A into the field) and that messes up with year sorting, not to mention that sometimes it doesn't make any sense.

Also, speaking of dates. On the Author page, if you input day and month but not year, it accepts the entry, but if you input just the year, it doesn't. It's not always possible to know the month and the day, usually authors who reveal the year don't reveal the month and the day. Is there any chance to make it accept only year as well, or is there some specific reason for this?

Yes, I've hit that wall too. It is an odd limitation.
