C&D? Cease and Desist- a letter sent by copyright holders to scanlation/etc. groups to tell them to stop working on a particular project.

Where's the plain vanilla Yes option? Scanslation is not a love it or hate it affair.

eyeballs the 50% people who want to help with scanlations ...a lot of groups are hiring. XDD Some even shut down due to lack of staff.

Anyway, 3.9% just want to stop manga scanlation? Wow...

And yeah, incorrect info is annoying. Although we can change them, just seeing wrong info is a bit annoying.

Don't hate scanlating, but I don't exactly love it either. I just translate as a hobby, so when leechers start demanding releases like incompetent retards, I tend to start hating it >_>

I think the 50% up there is more like wanting to help but have no real idea how, and or the time and effort that the process takes.

Seriously tho. I sympathize with the (now) 49.5% who want scanlate but can't. Some of them just lack the time or the skill. Or they've encountered bad scanlating teams. Whatever it is, they should keep trying by brushing up what skills they have. Don't give up!

I don't think they should be removed, since they're somewhat useful personally (Like when people ask you to recommend them a good manga you can just refer them to your list).

However yeah, pubbies and polls combined...

Honestly, even case-by-case help would be so great at the moment. I really only need someone to level and clean dust. My eyes aren't the greatest, so I hate dealing with dust on scans and shades of black. I can do the rest pretty quick. ^^

So true. I've met a lot of newbies to the biz who runaway after 1 job. Or even half a job haha.
