I just read a raw version, and it looks like it gives further background on Pein & Konan and it ends on a cliffhanger back on the regular time. It looks like things are going to be super intense between Pein & Jiraiya. On a side note there was nothing shown of Sasuke, I hope we don't have to wait too long to see that too : ]

i don't want to offend anyone, but personally i think this chapter is the shark jump for naruto. i don't know why, maybe i just mis understood what happend, but for now i feel as though this was the shark jump.

Yea I was thinking the same thing, I just read a translated version. I can't believe Jiraiya spent THREE years training them, that's pretty crazy. The next coming chapters should be pretty hot action.

the term "jumping the shark" came about after the old tv show happy days eventually lost it's appeal and got korny. this was also during an episode where the fonz jump over a shark on water ski's, hence the term for something that's begun it's downward spiral

You know doesn't it seem that those 3 kinda suck because it took them 3 years to destroy a shadow clone of the young jiraiya which is only at 10% of the user's real strength. While Naruto almost killed the older and more experienced Jiraiya after 2 1/2 years of training. Now the only reason Im making this claim is because those eyes of Nagato are supposed to be soooo damn strong.

see i didnt think this chapter was bad at all. Everyone who reads naruto wants to know what is going to be the incident that pushes him to 9 tails. I see that now nagato(sp) is most likely going to use Jiraya's body against naruto in the future whent hey fight. This is just what I think could be a possible outcome though.

that was the past when jiraiya stated the rinnegan was the strongest and he probably didnt know the full extent of uchiha madara's power. its quite possible that the sharingan was stronger and that no one except the uchiha clan was aware (like evolution) plus from the way jiraiya stated it, everyone seemed to think the rinnegan was just a myth anyway.
i thought it was a good chapter, we learned a little more history and we find out who pain is (probably). is it just me or does it seem like the first body pain was using seemed like yahiko's body 😕
btw shadow clones split remaining chakra evenly so his shadow clone isnt necessarily 10% of his strength

the idea of him using jiraiya's body seems like it could be a plausible twist...although that would be really f'ed up cuz jiraiya is awesome and killing him off would totally screw tsunade over lol

Sorry my mistake it was the water clone by Zabuza that used 10% And if there's any body or body part switching between Yahiko and Nagato I'll lose my 0.0001% hope of Naruto getting better which is totally made up from the coolness of the Uchiha clan. But I'll still keep reading 😢

I wasn't expecting all this to happen. Now, I can't see an end to Naruto anymore. Personally, I want to know more about Yahiko, and what happened to him.

And just because Nagato has a stronger eye than Tobi doesn't mean that he is stronger overall. Things are still too clouded.

@xeronia- yea just because nagato's got the eye doesn't necessarily mean he's got the power. I'm thinking he's just a tool or something b/c jiraya used like 8 tool/weapon metaphors to decribe his eye, maybe a little foreshadowing?

yea and it really does seem like nagato's maybe in yahiko's body?

im guessing that yahiko died in some emotional way which turned his friends emo and nagato took over yahiko's body.
