Nah cursing is overrated to me. I don't see a point even though it confuses people since its very rare to find someone who doesn't curse. Really confuses people when they find that I'm a marine too XD.

Just making the assumption that language can be foul is ridiculous. Words are words, and curse words are just words that carry taboo on them because crazy people freak out if you say them. If people didn't make such a big deal about it they would lose their meaning and shock value rendering them pointless.

i clicked no in the poll cause in the worlds standards i don't really cuss i say a few damn's and hell's every now and then but thats about it, and i have tried to stop...
i have to admit i find it disapointing but not surprising that most of the members answered yes...i find most cursing to be offensive, it can be funny to a point, but only to a point.. 😔

Nope not at all, the closest I get is Hell, and I only use it in the literal sense.

nah, i've got family in states...cousins that speak both languages (or cuss in both languages)...they confirmed it...
besides, you wouldn't believe curses we have here on the balkans...

Frankly, I cuss quite a bit... I have a habit of not paying attention to what I am saying, and I keep accidentally cussing in front of my younger siblings. 🤨 Oh, well. I hate it when people say not to cuss because if "offends them." Sorry, but if it offends you, pretend you did not hear it, because I say what I say. ^^

Meh, I think it's kind of stupid to compare gravity of profanity. I can make something that seems tepid sound far stronger than it seems, so I guess THEY don't have the ability to make full use of the language.

I don't usually cuss. But because i don't cuss very often, when i do it's means more.

People who cuss and cuss non-stop just makes it seem watered down. I mean, they use it so often that it's lost meaning.

I do, but only when I really can't find coherent words to express what I feel 🤣

well you're right, specially bout stupidness of comparing part, but i'm not talking about how to use or emphasise something tepid, but rather the pure number of curses and unholy words used...and things like shit, motherfucker are really child's play, think more saints and their body parts, holy items (we're catholic)...very nasty stuff...anyway you're right this is pretty stupid.
