Why do people hate Sasuke?

I admit, although I am greatly ashamed now, originally I used to like Sasuke, pretty much till the moment he formed Hibi, after killing Orochimaru.
Right now, I hate him, he is boring, one-dimensional character with no depth left anymore. Any time somebody claims - revenge, power, he is there.
I do like bad characters, so called anti-heroes, who are bad guys with good spark and consciousness, but don't hesitate to do whats needs to be done. Thats why I always like in DBZ I liked Vegeta and Trunks, far more than Goku and co.
But Sasuke is neither, he is basically becoming totally bad guy who is thinks that he is the one hurt most badly and nobody else matters. He doesn't give @$# about his comrade - either from leaf or Hibi, always sides with the bad guy and worst of all, believes bad guy far more than his proven friends.
Basically, he has gone from bad to worse, to evil. First, he betrays Konoha for easy short-cut to power (btw. I suspect that only thing Orochimaru done to him is to experiment on his body to make him strong and invincible. He had no new techniques other than powered-up old ones). And at the time, he doesn't know truth about Uchiha/Itachi, so basically he betrays Konoha for no good reason. Then when he does defeats Orochimaru, he doesn't even attempt on redemption/forgiveness and hunts Itachi. He falls into evil and doesn't hesitate, stops just wades in deeper. I liked Itachi so much more, even when his true story was unrevealed, he was shown as a complicating, deeply conflicting character - evil but with good spark. Sasuke is unrelenting bad, even worse than disgusting Orochimaru.
Evil Itachi will always win over evil Sasuke description.

I hate Sasuke because he's an idiot (the fact that I think he may be gay doesn't contribute to it). His brother sacrifices his life so that he can have a chance to be happy and he throws it away because the series arch villain gives him a fake story.
I feel like Sasuke has gotten to the point where nothing will redeem him because he wants to become evil (for some deep psychological reason the author will probably reveal during the Naruto/Sasuke death match). And he's taking the long way for revenge. He's supposed to be a ninja. Wouldn't it have been smarter to rejoin Konoha and destroy it from within? This tells me he has cast away most emotion, but has enough of a spark not to do things the truly evil way, just like the way he doesn't want to kill Naruto (but that might just be him not wanting to follow the path of his brother).
For this reason, I have contempt for Sasuke, who has lowered his intelligence to the same point as Naruto and launches full frontal attacks on his enemy (sometimes I wonder if these people remember they're ninjas) instead of being truly evil and gutting them from behind. Does he truly want to destroy all of Konoha with his flimsy motivation and leftover conscience? Eventually the author will tell us (hopefully at the event of Sasukes redemption and/or death).

I consider myself a sasuke's fanboy as much as I am a naruto's one. kishimoto tried to make two different characters that were facing kinda the same situations, but both choosing a different way (plainly put good and evil). sasuke is that kind of character that gets almost all my interest in the stories, he is the one who developed the most (for good or for bad). the sasuke that we met at the beginning obviously isn't the same it is now. naruto is that kind of main character that every shounen-action manga has ,adding some personal details. but he is still the I-will-never-give-up guy, we have met before. Hating , liking or loving a character is part of what the author was trying to do, give you emotions toward something you will just actually say: "hey it's just a drawing" when you think clearly.
Why people hate sasuke? answer: because he is that type of person they can't stand (or want to kill).
people say that he is unloyal, coward, lazy, emo and gay, well maybe he is some of those, but does he has to be the opposite of that to be a loved character?? he is not naruto, he will react in a different ways. sasuke is just committing mistakes and he is one of those guys that wont stop until they are empty or they are dead. I will be sad when something bad happens to him. because he will be that character that because of his own fault ended up empty, sad, repented, betrayed, humiliated and alone in Naruto's world. at this point he can't be excused, what a shame he is that type of guy that deserves to be hated by the most.
and finally I recommend Onani Master Kurosawa to everybody that is reading this. at the first chapter you may think that is the same cliche echii story but as it develops gets really great. it gave me a good time and if you have any manga that you know that is alike I will like to hear about it.

Could he be considered Emo?
He’s not constantly lamenting himself or writing poetry; instead he trains and fights to archive his goals.
He doesn’t try to kill himself, he kills his enemies.
If he doesn’t have close friends, is because he is afraid that Itachi might kill all of his loved ones….again…
I think that Emo are more passive people, and Sasuke is a really active character.
He constantly remorses on his past, and how he can't have any friends because of (insert tragic event here.) He wallows in self-pity and has taken it upon himself as his one mission to take revenge on his brother. He refuses to be beaten by a 'lesser' person like Naruto, and doesn't know the meaning of hard work.
Instead of hard work he must always find the faster option to 'leveling up' ie. Curse Seal/ Orochimaru.
In three years he became the god of uberness who killed a Seinen and proceeded to kill one of the Akatsuki without any real issue. He's simply Godly, and gay, and oh did I say gay? And selfish. His overpoweredness is completely different from Naruto in that Naruto spent three years with Jiraiya and didn't appear to learn -anything-.
yeah but naruto spent less than a year with everybody else and ended up getting uberpowerful with barely any training and manages to learn super moves in a day so-wtf?

The difference though with Naruto's increase in power during the progression of part two and Sasuke is that with Naruto we usually see him train to gain jutsu and abilities, or at least in a few cases an explanation in one form or another. Sasuke on the other hand often gets abilities handed to him with no effort as far as the reader can tell in accomplishing them. Its likely meant to speed up Sasuke's part in the plot so the main character or the main parts of the story can continue, but paired with his attitude to many it makes his character even more unlikable.

Everyone take 5000 deep breaths and hush
Well Hate and Love is both needed in a manga to make it good?
If you have read all the manga that have been released then you probably like it or you think i have read and wasted to much time to give upp now.
Even if sasuke takes the so called Evil roll that everyone hate and feels annoyed about, thats what probably what kishimoto want, someone must be hated or shunned for there to be a saint/hero(Naruto)
For example when you see naruto being outcasted by the whole village as a kid you feel with him.
Sasuke and the rest of the naruto gang and plot makes this loving, hating, annyoing etc etc ot
it's what make a manga good

i have nothing against smug or arrogant character--but illogical, full of self-pity character pisses me off..
Vengeance is childish. It annoys me when people are unable to man up and get over shit from the past and end up just prolonging the shit beyond sensible lengths. Adjust and forgive. Live for the future.

He can't grow up. I have nothing against arrogant bastards but he's just behaving like a sullen kid. He has no future because the only thing he sees is past.

If all of your family was wiped out I doubt you'd get over it either. People are quick to judge until they're in the person's shoes.

The evilness I'm fine with - the pure arrogance and self pity is what aggravates me most. Why act like the whole world owes him, as if he's the only one to have suffered? I can also do without his ego too, thinking that most people (i.e. Naruto) are inferior to him.
Never been a fan of him right from the beginning. I wouldn't call it hate - he's just simply annoying.
HE IS SO ANNOYING come on... who cares if your brother or family dies! GET OVER IT already... if you can't handle it then go suicide...>.< geez Sasuke ALWAYS have to take revenge and when he does that, he regrets it and get another motive for REVENGE AGAIN! 🤢

Oh please... The revenge of his death family is just a false motive for whatever he wants to do (still trying to understand what he is after) because if you think straight, you'll realize that madara was the one behind his family tragedy event... but he still sticks with him to go kill... whoever 😐
He should be dead already... like, go sit on a chair, trip and fall, beating with his head on his knees... or something like that lol BUT SERIOUSLY, DIEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

And why are most/all Uchiha so quick to nerdrage with hatred?
