Are there any manga where the lead girl is popular and the guy she falls for is unpopular? And I'm not talking about the mysterious loner type (those annoy me usually) either. An actual unpopular guy. Be it nerdy, plain or just a straight up loser, but overall he's a good guy and that's why she falls for him.

I'm looking for shoujo because it's gonna be less likely and I want to see how that genre tackles it, but if you have any other genre (Seinen, shounen, or Josei) you want to throw out then feel free to.

Jimikoi (oneshot), Seishun Location and 3D Kanojo comes to mind with the plain boy x popular girl theme there. And oh Hibi Chouchou. Those are shoujo.

As for non-shoujo, there is a lot, but if you like shoujo, you may like this manga: Tonari no Kashiwagi-san.
