It's kinda annoying but many sites operate this way, the system being set up in a way that accounts can't be deleted. May I ask why you want to delete your account TC (topic creator)?

However, if you pm lambchopsil, he'll change the PW for you to something that you won't know so you won't log in anymore, but he won't delete your account.

you can delete an account, maybe not you, but the admin could. Even if there is no function that does this in admin cp which would be weird you can still delete it manually
