Any one planning on going to a summer concert? I get to see lallapolloza they have the Black Keys on friday the first then Rage plays on the second. this is gonna be so sweet.

Nothing notable coming up where I live.... James Holden will be spinning at a local superclub next week, which is a big thing If you're into club music.

None this year... it's been ages since I last was at a summer festival. The last one was oxegen 2 or so years ago. I got to see James Brown and The Who though 😎 JB was amazing still bouncing around the stage, he died like 3 months later 🙁

Oh and lucky bastard getting to see Black Keys... I hope it rains ¬_¬ 🤣

I had gone to linkin park's Projekt revolution last week in pittsburg. It was a lot of fun, they had ten bands playing, a couple of my favs: atreyu, armour for sleep, hawthrowne hights, and the bravery (though they sucked on stage)
even busta rymes was there. Though I dont think they fit in well with the other bands that were playing.

I even got my shirt signed by Hawthorne hights!!!! :>

I know a lot of people say that linkin park is overrated, but it was a lot of fun. :>

But other than that I missed three doors down, but oh well....

I saw Linken Park support Metallica ages ago. All through there set they got pelted with bottles, batteries and any other crap people could get there hands on. The DJ guy got hit with a battery and left the stage... 😛 I dislike them a lot but even I felt sorry for the reception they got... 😔

Dammit. I was supposed to go to see The Black Keys in August.

I just went to Warped Tour last week and i'm going to the Killers a few days from now 😀

Warped Tour was freakin awesome, hands down. Absolutely insane, i might add, but totally epic nonetheless. 😃 You know, thanks to the mosh pit, i'm pretty sure that was the closest i've ever been to complete strangers... At one point, i stopped jumping while everyone else in the mosh pit was, and yet i was still being lifted up and down because everybody was packed so close together. 🤣

Just got back from lollapalooza! The Black Keys where so good the beer even made them sound better. Then Rage was flippin awesome the mospits where intense. But i am dead tired and i must go to bed i just wanted to let ahoaho know thanks for telling me about the black keys.

Before i saw the police i saw the cure, which, imo thought was better.

Rancid was in my home town, like, a week after I moved out. Which is big. I think the last band that went there probably got beat up by marines.

This falls in with my Misfits experience. Not only that, but Bonnaroo was on the days of my exams. So I couldn't go to that either.

So no, it looks like I won't be going to any good concerts this summer. Maybe its karma.

I would've killed to go to Bonnaroo. The Black Keys, The Raconteurs, Gov't Mule, The Derek Trucks Band, Robert Randolf. Epic win.
