i knew it had to be ren. is anyone else curious as to what this secret mission is? any guess cause am clueless at the moment

I am soooooo happy because I was right and it IS Ren! Nakamura is still perfect and I worship her still. She deserves it ALL!! I love Ren. And I can't wait for the next chapter and the ones after that. I don't believe I have ever read a manga (and I've read about 97 by now) that held my interest this much, well except Tokyo Crazy Paradise, of course. Skip Beat (and TCP) have never once been boring and I'm so going to buy all the volumes when they come out. I need to support Nakamura.

EDIT: The secret mission is probably...well, Ren acting like BJ (or X) without anyone figuring it out. Kyoko is there to protect him, I guess, and help him out. Can't wati excited to death

I don't know how edgy Nakamura will make Kyoko but judging from how she did TCP, I'm expecting no less than "bad-ass".

I was thinking along the same lines. I would totally love to see Kyoko become a yankee or something. Even if she doesn't I'm sure I won't be disappointed in whatever direction the story heads. <3

But when boss said protective charm I immediately thought about the rock that she received from Kuon when they were younger, so I'm thinking that it might come out again...
