Oooh, true. Regardless, though, we're clearly talking about the most critical instruments in the whole orchestra here: maracas, castinets, the cowbell, and the triangle. Where would we be without them?

No I dont unfortunately. The only thing i even got close to an instrument was that crappy recorder in 3rd grade. I want to learn how to play the guitar or drums though! I might sign up for some lessons.

I can play an instrument.. Not that well, but I can play the flute.. kind-of, I stopped playing since I have the worse memory ever and I couldn't remember how to put it together each time >_>. Theres also Sax, which I played the wrong way for about half a year, then got it rite =D.. And, finally, a Trumpet which, I'm not totally bad at, but not great..

I want to play drums, but I doubt I ever will.

I can play the guitar and piano. Wanna learn violin. 😀 Can't do all that blowing stuff. Tried a clarinet and my throat hurt a lot...

Tried learning guitar gave up when I realised it needed hard work and dedication to be anyway decent 🙁 😛

Piano, Guitar, Violin and some drums. Lot's of electronic gadgets.

Recorder also (was compulsory in school)

seriosly though i play abit of piano. i had a nasty teacher who smelt of cats and most of the time i played chopsticks so i didn't keep it up 🙁

I play guitar. Sometimes I wish I asked my parents for drums instead of a guitar 6 years back. I wonder how it would have turned out. I'm decent with the guitar. I can play quite a few songs, but that's where the problem lies. I can play other people's stuff, but I can't make something up myself. I tried learning to be a jazz guitarist only to realize that I can't improvise for the life of me. And the root of the problem was that I used to only read tabs, and never bothered learning to play by ear. Now, I can read sheet music, but I still can't play by ear. If I would spend as much time playing guitar as I would watching anime, playing video games, and reading manga, I could have become pretty good (my jazz teacher said I had potential). One day, I hope that I can become something good.

I also want to play the piano. Maybe when I'm older I'll give it a try, but that depends how busy my lifestyle will be.

If you want to learn the basics of improvising, learn blues. It's what about 99% of jazz is based off, and it helps immensely in ear training. And when I say learn blues, I don't mean the scales and the progressions alone, I mean the aesthetics. It's the same in jazz. The ironic thing about my playing is that I started playing by ear and only use tabs for chord progressions and key signatures.

But I skip practicing a lot nowadays. 🤣

In junior high and the first yeah of high school I played violin in the orchestra. I sucked supremely and I and everyone else knew it. I mostly just stayed in as long as I did to get a fine arts credit... that and I like asian chicks...

I kinda wish I had some talent for playing instruments, but I don't.
