I know it's unbelievable but I haven't seen/read InuYasha, so I wanted to know which is better the anime or manga?
Thank you in advance =D

I personally liked the anime more because the art is better displayed in full color and the fighting scenes better represented.

Well until the anime stops they are pretty much the same story, so I can't say which is better. Personally I prefer the manga. Hwever, by the end of it was really dragging and I was just when it was over. This might have something to do with the fact that that I had started Inuyasha when I was younger and grown up a little by the time it ended, so it no longer appealed to me, or

because the main antagonist doesn't change which made it rather monotonous.

The anime is good for the fighting and visuals, and is shorter but doesn't complete the story. I suggest you start with the anime. If you like it then you'll want to read the manga to find out what happens.

So... the action is better in the anime, so Anime 1, Manga 0, and the story is better in the manga so Anime 1, Manga 1 >o<
Now is the romance represented equally in both? Or is it more developed in the manga?

Near equal, I'd say but you'll never see Inuyasha and Kagome kiss in the manga. In the anime though it was presented with a beautiful fandom nod KISSS (in The Final Act), so if you wanna be completely satisfied, I'd recommend the anime. wink

(Or just do as I did: read the manga AND watch the anime bigrazz)

The manga is definitely better than the anime. I started out with the first anime, and I simply hated Kikyou in that. After that first part finished I found out about the manga and started reading it. There I found out that I liked all characters (including Kikyou!) a lot more in the manga than I did in the anime. Also: the manga doesn't have as many "filler episodes" as the first part of the anime has. 😛
Sure, the final act of the anime is fine, but I will always prefer the manga over the anime.
