I was wondering if there was any manga out there with a female protagonist assassin who is silent & has no mercy for anyone. She can be badass, but not a screaming crazy, blood craving killer. Romance really isn't required, but if there was that would be nice. She can't be a side character, she must be the main protagonist. Also, she can be a Klutz and a bubbly person when not killing people, like at school or work. It would be great if she were so :> It can also be just an anime too. c:

Examples:
Kite & Kite: Liberator - Monaka/Sawa's very cute, Klutzy and adorable when not on the job. A cold blooded assassin, who doesn't think twice about killing someone.

Please Exclude: Ecchi (It's okay if it's a little bit, No overflowing boobs or anything), Yoai, Yuri, Tsundere, Male protagonist (It's okay if there is a male main character. He just can't be the main focus), MarySue.

Well there's Gunslinger Girl (also an anime)... most the characters are no mercy assassins... young girls who've been modified to be so, though they act sort of like normal girls when not killing.

Noir is an awesome anime about two female assassins.

Arachnid fits pretty well.

Seconding Noir (anime) and Gunslinger Girl

Well actually I had tried watching Gunslinger Girl before, but the finding it online was pain. Not once did I ever think there was a Manga for it, lol! I'll give it a try again! ^^

Eeeh, Noir seems kind of old, not that I have a problem with that, it's just that it'll be hard to find online to watch and I can't afford to buy my Manga+Anime just yet ^^" I'll try searching for it.

I'll also give Arachnid a try.

Thanks!

Noir is on Hulu... not that I'd ever watch anime streamed online, lol... you can download most anything with a little looking.

Quote from Sagaris

Phantom of Inferno
Ordinary Plus Minus

Phantom is a no no. Ein isn't the protagonist 😳

Back on topic, I remembered Canaan. Protag is more of a mercenary then she is an assassin but she kills anyone but civilians in her way.
I'll recommend the anime since the manga hasn't been fully translated

There is Tista, but it never impressed me very much. I can't "third" Gunslinger Girl enough, since it's my favorite manga. A LOT better than the anime.
