Impact of Hair/Makeup

Ok, people who kill themselves trying to be beautiful with lots of makeup and styled hair usually end up failing miserably from what I've seen. I wear makeup, but I really don't look that different without it, and I dont really care if I wear it or not. Also, I respect anyone who spends time fixing their hair every morning because I could never do it. I brush it and go. I never like it when people dye their hair though. Natural hair always looks the best because it is the color that is biologically meant for your face! Dont change it! You just get unnaturally dry, straw-like hair!

Not exactly,
I used to have blond hair, and well, no matter how many times I friggin' washed it, it would always look greasy and it'd tick me off >.<, so I dyed it darker (originally black, because I like the color; but then my family forced me to dye it lighter -> to brown, because they found it too unbearable because I have pale skin.
Most of them still don't like the brown hair, though.) But I think it looks much better, it doesn't get the geasy look like my blond hair did. Thankfully.
And for your information, my hair isn't dry, nor is it straw-like. It is very smooth, and a bit wavy near the end-middle.

I've seen that on TV. 😲
I don't wear makeup too often, I kind of loathe it actually. However, I do enjoy styling my hair. I admit, I do feel prettier. xD Though it doesn't exactly do a 180-degree transformation or anything.

LOLL this commercial cracked me up so hard. Its so ridiculous and stupid, but anyways personally I feel like I need to wear makeup everywhere I go. It
s always just foundation though becuase I suck at taking care of my skin, but I dont think I look that different from not wearing any. I guess it
s a confidence booster for me, but I`m slowly trying to stop wearing it everywhere I go. tehee

Depends on the context. Of course all of our lives would be easier if our modern society wouldn't care about such things. I personally like very much the natural looks of women when they have no makeup and a bedhead. I think that's when women are being their sexiest. 😀
But when it comes to using make-up or hairdos, I have nothing against them. Some look idiotic trying to look prettier, some look remarkably better (due to bad skin etc.) and I also enjoy looks of beautiful women with nicely done hair and make-up. I don't care what anyone does to their face/hair, be them men or women, but I think it's good to be able to show yourself publicly without make-up, not thinking you must always have make-up on. As for more festive situations, nothing wrong with doing some make-up, as it is the habbit. But I think I prefer the natural look, though it is a fact that some people look better with make-up than without it.
I'll hug your problems away.

If your hair always looked greasy and now it doesnt that means that it's gotten dryer. In your case, that's not a bad thing. What I meant about dying your hair and making it dry was more like when you do it consistently (which most people do to keep the color), your hair will dry out because of peroxide. But for many people only using permanent dye a few times will damage hair. Its not horrible if you choose to do it, I just dont like dye because of that. I've dyed and highlighted before and several of my friends do and I just really cant stand how it makes my (and their) hair.

Um, maybe it's just me, but I really notice when someone has good hair.
I could be walking sleepily to class, and BAM, notice this person(guy) with good hair. It kinda wakes me up, in a way.
I don't know about makeup. For some people, it really makes a (good)difference. For others, not so much. I guess it's something you need to try out for yourself.

I find the hair can change a person's look a lot. How it frames the face and all. As for make-up, I hardly wear it, so I don't think people find me that different without it-- since usually I am without-. I do get different stares when I take off my glasses. I hate it XD I don't question them after, though.

Ah, I see <.<...Sorry for my earlier snap-itude, if it seemed that way XD.
I've only dyed it twice (black + brown)
And my hair is still dyed brown because I use a shampoo and conditioner that doesn't wash it out XD.
The only thing I hate about my hair though, is that it's so DAMN thick, it takes hours for it to dry (I don't use the hair-dryer because it bothers me. And I don't put hair-products in it, either).

i almost don't use make up, except for powder and black eye-liner... I really hate the feel of lipgloss/lipstick so I almost don't use them...Make up doesn't change me much... In general I believe it is supposed to underline the beautiful about one's face and hide the imperfections, so no, it mustn't make one look absolutely different from what they are, there are exclusions if you're an artist or are into some subculture and make up creates your style, but people who use tonns of "stucco" on everyday basis just can disappoint others hehe
as to examples, I've got a friend who is kinda "gray mouse" when whithout make up, but when she's puts a hint of it she's like "woooooooow" 😉 )
I mean, sure, you can wear makeup everyday, but when it comes to that special occasion, you just look the same as always, or you add more...which can make you look worse in some cases...
Totally agree with that....

I think it's most important to be confident yourself. If a person is confident she will look good no matter what she is wearing. 😀

A little is just fine but what is considered a little and alot? I perfer girls that are geninely natural cause will ive had bad experiences with girls with makeup so natural please ^_^
well its up to the girl or guy cough if he/she chooses too i say makeup is like putting on a mask your just hiding your real self
Once someone compliments you on that fake mask you tend to use more and more so when will that stop?
my point is a little is fine but people you cant help how you were born deal with it im sure you'll find someone that likes how you look no matter what isnt that more important?
Or are you the person that likes to appeal to everyone? shrug idk just saying i dont hate makeup i just hate the ideas behind it such as fake beauty
Fate does not coming knocking at your door but rather it is you who is knocking at fate's Door.
