I'd choose b.
I have an answering machine for a reason, I can always bring the baby with me to answer the door, and sweaters can get wet.

Yea, this.
The door.
Phones can ring as much as they please
and the baby won't die right away.
Mother's sweater wtf? It's the same as
bringing a musk ox inside.

If I was alone and a baby was crying, I'd lock my door and hide under the blankets... but seeing as how that's not a choice. I'll go with c.

b= you can carry the baby to...
c= answer the door tell the person at he door to...
d= to get your mom's sweater while you...
a=answer the phone
multitasking piece a cake well in theory anyway. In live practice I would probably ignore it all which is why I would not be left alone with a baby. 🤣 😀 😉

Pick up the baby, go answer the phone, take baby & phone to answer the door (cordless phone...), and then go get the sweater when I'm done with the person at the door.
Take away the sweater & add two 12/13 year olds simultaneously asking questions, and I've been in that situation more than once. 🤣

c. answer the door
For the same reasons that mams stated.
I was thisclose to choosing the sweater over all else. And even now I would still put it second before the baby. 😐

Yeah the baby won't die just from crying.
But if it was me I would do the most irrational, because with so many things happening at once it'd be hard to think straight.
So I would probably get the sweater first.
~Any sane person would just unplug the phone, go tend to the baby, get the door, and run out to get the sweater.
Get the phone tell them I would call back in a min, run outside get sweater, invite person at the door in, tend to baby. In that order.
That just seems like the best way to get everything done.

I would leave the phone to keep ringing, I don't like answering calls any way. 😛 first thing, I would grab the baby and while I am trying to comfort her/him, I would go to open the door.
mom's sweater can get wet, and I won't be sad about it. 😀

B!
I do not answer to the phone
We have a padlock in the front gate so people do not knock in our door, I do not answer when they are calling from the gate also
Rain has never caught the clothes before I did and I do not think it will happen
My baby is by far the most important 🙂
