Do the Japanese really...

Do the Japanese really speak out every last thing they're thinking? It's really starting to annoy me, in Manga people are seen running away from monsters, and when they're hiding from the monsters, rather than Think about what they're thinking, they choose to speak it, or they just suddenly start talking to themselves when it would be better to just think it, and those things. I know its just manga but still, if they actually do do that, it'll at least be less annoying for me when I notice it.

It kinda falls into the general foils of over-using text, telling instead of showing, etc.
Remember, the Manga industry isn't magically immune to poor writing. You can find many novels that are guilty of the same thing (John was sad, John was angry at this, ...). It all comes down to how talented a writer the mangaka is, and how good of an artist they are.
A lot of the "artsy" slice of life mangas are usually exceptional at focusing on artwork, and using words meaningfully...series like YKK and Aria.
Lol, I was just thinking about this earlier.
I think they do that so you know what's going on, rather than if a character does something, the reader wouldn't be lost and think "What's going on?". That's just me, though. );
Edit: Ah! You said say it out loud, well...that part is a bit weird...

Since narration is usually limited, often in stories that are not told in novel format the author finds the easiest way to send the message across is simply by having the character state it.

THIS.
A silly question, really....really.
And also much more fitting to be asked here.

Err, I think people sort of missed what I was asking... You got it right though, I think, what I was asking was, why do they speak out loud, rather than having the character think it (using thought bubbles instead of speech bubbles)
Sorry for not being so specific...
Scyfon, thank you for the link, didn't know it existed.

The topic is already done so...
No, they don't talk what they are thinking out loud, see, they are really good at not talking what they are thinking.
Why it happens in manga?......Maybe the mangaka wants to give an more intense feeling like:
Says: OH MY GOD HE IS GOING TO USE XXXXX AND THEN ZZZZZ IM FUCKED, BUT I HAVE HOPE! I STILL HAVE YYYYY"
rather than:
Thinks: "Huuumm. he is going to use XXXXX and then ZZZZZ, that's bad, but I still have YYYY"
Dunno, but thinking seems better for cool characters and would feel weird in dumb/active guys, since manga is full of these dumb guys talking is very used.
Note for example that in shoujo the guy will hardly keep saying what he is thinking, he is cool you know.
Edit: This post seems ridiculous......well...I tried?
