Someone had forgotten the title of it a long time ago as well and that was how I read it but here's what I remember:

There were two childhood friends. I believe one of them had blonde hair and blue eyes, because he was a foreigner or he was half of some sort (I don't remember). The town loved the blonde kid cos' he was cute and stuff, but one day he moved away to become a Shinto priest/monk? The other childhood friend, who had dark hair, was kind of upset. Fast forward to a few years later and the blonde guy comes back but his head is all shaved as part of being a monk. His come back was still well-received by the townspeople except for his childhood friend who acts a bit awkward and weary around him. If I'm not mistaken the dark-haired childhood friend stayed behind and took over his family's store. There were a few things that happen, like the monk getting a delivery from the dark-haired's store and such, but in the end they obviously get together. That's all I remember - I think if I looked a little bit harder I would have found the old thread, but I'll try to make the search go a little bit faster. 🤣 Thank you!

Edit: I'm pretty sure it was only one chapter, since it was a part of a series of oneshots.
