Well, I'm not really sure if any Espada is actually a Vasto Lorde considering Nnoitras search before.
I wouldn't suspect anybody of being a VL until Kubo Tite gives us an actual example. Okay, the example we had looked a lot like Ulquiorra except for his slightly changed mask but I will wait until he actually says something like "This is how Vasto Lordes fight/release"

nnoitra and above are vasto lordes. grimmjow was king of adjuchas class menos. chances are that nel is a vasto lorde also.
...i have a theory. the higher the hollow class, in their arrancar form, their release is more like a shinigami's. notice the difference between the releases of grimmjow and nnoitra.

How mean, putting Grimmjaw up as an option! That's just bringing my hopes up, we all know it won't be happening anytime soon.

This chapter was okay, not good not bad just okay. It was pretty short though. And now we know where the land mine came from ^_^. Not expecting much for the next chapter though, for all we know Tite decides to go back to what's going on in Karakura Town, he does it every time the plot thickens.

Anyway~

I'll like Bleach a whole lot more when one of the following happens:
a) Grimmjaw comes back from wherever the hell he is.
b) The Vizards show up and help out at Karakura Town.
c) Byakuya, Unohana, Kenpachi, and Mayuri make an appearance. I forgot what happened to them for all we know they're having tea together.
d) Nel comes back as well. She's the only reason I started watching the anime again.

In a fight between him and Nnoritora I'd bet on grimmy anyday, all spoony has going for em is the hard skin and arms, he isn't exactly the brightest crayon in the box.

Kinda like how Yammy is 10th but there was a gillian for 9th

No it was something like, all the other adjuchas (in that group he was traveling in) didn't believe that they would be able to ascend to Vasto Lorde, but they believed that Grimmjow could, so they dubbed him king and sacrificed their bodies to him.

What I don't understand is, what's up with Ichigo's power surges, are they in fact just typical shounen fare, or is there something more to all this level upping. Ichigo being a different breed altogether, a hallowgami, possibly?

speculation: kurosaki isshin is the big bad behind aizen. we dont know why he aint in soul society do we? ichigo is the finest product of his work or is a natural vizard as a result of circumstances with urahara.
it should be obvious by know that his bankai nor his hollow power is complete. the mask is getting more lines and tensa zangetzu (bankai name of zangetzu) means heaven's chains moon cutter not broken chains moon cutter

Bleach 345: The sloth

A scene shows Rukia who is having trouble against Rudobon. Rudodon’s calaverus allows its skulls to turn into a fighter. Although they couldn’t do much but they continuing coming out has tired Rukia .

“I’ve received this ability as creature from Aizen sama. But even I couldn’t be compared to an Espada...you young ones daring to fight against Espadas are foolish.”

At that moment an explosion happens on the sky and makes Rodubon looks up.

“Oh…..This! Ulquiorra-sama has destroyed the dome?!” And not only did it attracts Rudobon, Ishida and Orihime run out to look up where the fight between Ulquiorra and Ichigo is happening. Orihime stares up and calls out, “Kurosaki-kun….!”

A scene cuts to Ichigo and Ulquiorra. Ulquiorra tells Ichigo there are two forbidden rules in Las Noches. First one is they are not allow to use Grand Ray Cero and the second one is for 4th Espada and above to release under the dome. Any one of these two is too powerful and it could explode Las Noches. Then Ulquiorra point his sword at Ichigo and says,

“Bind…Murcielago.”

After he said his release command, something like black rain or ink rains down from where Ulquorra is standing all the area. However, Ichigo ignores the black rain and keeps on staring the figure on top of the dome. Once the rain stopped, the figure spreads its wings out almost cover the moon and there Ulquiorra is standing on top of the dome. Ichigo just stares at Ulquiorra until he speaks,

“Don’t shaken up. Don’t relax nor lose concentration even for a second.” Then they stare at each other for a while before Ulquiorra suddenly appears in front of Ichigo and calls out something like a light sword aiming at Ichigo’s neck. But Ichigo is fast enough to use Getsuga Tenshou to counterattack Ulquiorra’s attack. Ichigo falls down and the part of his hollow mask broke.

“Strike back by Getsuga? Good decision. Because your head would have been near my foot now if you hadn’t use it.” Said Ulquiorra.

And I'm kinda scared. Almost two years ago I wrote a Fanfic and my Arrancars Resurreccion (not Ulquiorra) was also called Murcielago.

Either my connection to Ulquiorra (or Kubo Tite xD) is deeper than I thought or the name Murcielago ist just too obvious. xD
