Fairly new subgenre of pornography. Included here as some may like to avoid this category completely.

well i was just wondering, are these not real words or something? i downloaded something of smut and was not quite happy with it 😐 .. not knowing what it is..
although i know what lolicon is.. what is smut and shotacon? as i do not want to know hands on 😐

Well, shotacon is your usual lolicon, but just with boys instead of girls, i.e. cute small boys with teddybears being treated in a very-very special (perverted) way.
Never heard of smut, though.

Lolicon and shoutacon do not mean pornography, by the way. Shoutacon is short for shouta complex, a complex for little boys.

ahh i was wondering about smut too lol.
so, mental note, if it says 'lolicon', 'smut', or 'shotacon' alone, it might be allright. but if its 'shotacon' or 'lolicon'
combined with 'smut', avoid at all costs

It's like a side effect of being a fan of modern Japanese video culture. That's just what it does to your brain.
If it's cute and funny - sure, why not.
But if it's an object of obsession, that's a little wrong.

i think that's the best way to describe lolicon, as just a love for cute little things like rabbits, cats, dogs... reptiles ? (they can be)
that's why i think lolicon or shotacon alone are ok genres (though i haven't actually read either), if smut is combined, something isn't right...

Lolicon - "hey there little girl!"
-10 year old girl - "Hi, who are you?"
- "That doesnt matter, but i do have candy in the van!"
Shotacon is plain... nasty?
i guess... but personally. Midgets arent wat i look for.
