I have a goatee too, I just shave around it. 🤣 It takes a little getting use to, but now that I have, I never want to go back to cartridge razors and canned goop. If you ever want to seriously try it I recommend snooping around Bader & Blade. The community is really helpful and even holds give-aways for new members to pick up a brush, razor, soap, ect.

haha, i lurk quite a lot on b&b forum...I actually was all ready to go for my first setup (merkur 180, tweezerman, poraso), but then I looked at myself and how much "shaving" i'd do, and it's just not worth it (not much hair under chin) and can't sport the 5 o'clock shadow (not enough hair for that). All I need is to trim the goatee and shave a bit on its side to keep it clean and symmetrical. I'm sure I'll get to wet shaving eventually, but until I grow out of my "baby face" that will have to do. 😀

I've always wondered how that term came into existence, although I guess it must have something to do with the fact that the English hated the Dutch for a good period of time. As a Dutch woman, I can't help but find the term a bit insulting.
Anyway, if you really want one, I'd suggest you start saving.

No need to apologise; it's not like I was really offended by you using the term. I was just pointing out that I'm not entirely happy with the fact that the expression exists. If the Dutch started using "Engelse vrouw" to refer to a sex-doll, I'm sure the English women wouldn't be too happy about that either.
