Now I know it's quite a common theme in yaoi manga but I'm looking for a manga where it's particularly strong/the main idea behind a story.
Basically I want to read a manga where the seme is after an uke but there are circumstances which make him feel it's impossible the uke will choose or want to be with him and he convinces himself of this. Not necessarily a manga with an uke that is hetero at the start but yeah.
Because he has convinced himself it will never happen, even when the uke finally accepts is feelings for the seme the seme doesn't really get it because he's decided it's impossible so he's slow on the uptake but is eventually shocked when he figures it out.

If you change seme to uke, you have the story of Ashita mo Tanin
