Looking for something new to read that takes a bit more serious take on an inappropriate relationship.

With inappropriate I mean a relationship that is/would be frowned upon by the couples surrounding. Be it because of an age gap (older male younger female if so), (former)teacher-student, guardian-charge, relatives, one of the couple being socially unaccepted for whatever reason or a boss and his subordinate - it doesn't need to be anything crass the important part is basically the weird glances from their neighbours. Now when I say serious take I don't mean humour is out of the question I just do not wish to read anything where the story is buried under a ton of lame and well, inappropriate jokes.

You don't need to give me links to tags like Age Gap or Student-Teacher-Relationship because yes I know there is an advanced search, nor do I need a wordless list of titles that may fit one of the tags. I'm looking for an recommendation so something you thought was good and goes in that direction.
