So my friend is looking for a manga she read a while back and all she remembers is this:

A boy who tries to kill himself ends up in hell. A wizard or devil then helps him by giving him a backpack where he can pull weapons out of. Then the boy meets a girl who is a strong fighter and they train together, then they enter some kind of a fighting competition.

There are also devils with horns that can sniff out humans.
