So yeah, if you spot a thread about an issue that you feel strongly about, and you know that you're the type to lose yourself once you enter the debate, do you still do it anyways or refrain yourself from posting in those threads? o.o

I can't be asked to get into debates on forums.
I don't actually like arguing online.
But sometimes it does happen. I usually try to come to a balanced view that will shut us both up 🤣

In those types of threads, I usually say very little in order not to ramble on what I believe in etc. Sort of cut it down to a simple line to refrain from those heated debates.

No idea what the last option means but generally I don't bother. I haven't the time to enter into long winded online debates or the inclination to. I rarely check a thread after I've posted in it and frankly don't care enough to take offense if someone I've never met on the other side of the world disagrees with me.

When I was younger I used to get more bent out of shape about online threads but then I grew up, left home and had to enter the real world which leaves little time or mental space to worry about such things. How I'm going to afford to eat this month and can I get the electricity metre topped up before it runs out and I freeze and what day do I need to book the PCR machine for seem ever so slightly more important somehow.

I have never heard the term butt hurt before, strange but amusing thing to call it. lol.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

never been an angry person and i hang out with people who like to insult anything that moves so i dont reallt get hurt easily, though on rare ocation yes, i do get a little pissed at what people say but thats really uncommon thankfully
