I was re-organizing my room, and realized quite how much old manga I have stacked up in my room. I don't know what to do with it. :0 I re-read them alot so I thought about keeping them, but I don't really want them to take up so much space in my room. Plus I don't want to get rid of them because I spent like 10$ (rounded up) a book on them. Then again they take up a bunch of space in my room.. So I was wondering what do you do with a manga or series when you are done reading them? And how do you store them? if you keep them. 🙂

Thanks for reading. 😀

For what you don't want, donate to a local library that does not have the volumes in question.

For what you want, invest in high-efficiency shelving.

Depends on the manga - if it's something I really loved and/or realistically will want to read again, I keep them. If not, I sell them - sometimes to the local second hand book store, sometimes eBay. It is a bit painful to sell them for so much less than I paid, BUT if I don't really want them anymore, then it's better to clear them out & let someone else enjoy them. 😃

None of my mangas are really old... but I can tell you what I do with books.
I've got many, many old books about very specific and sometimes weird things and I don't need them... So whenever I feel I could use some more space (for new books) I try to sell them somewhere on the Internet. If it doesn't work, I ask some of may friends if they (or their friends) need such books. If this doesn't work either, I go to a few libraries and ask if they want these books. If not, I'm stuck with a book that nobody wants, because I just can't throw a book away.

The ones that you don't like and which the pages are sorta yellow, I'd say box those and store them somewhere (prolly under your bed). Then for the special ones, high-efficiency shelving like Toto said.

A nice bookshelf isn't too expensive
and it looks nice to have manga collections on display 🙂
You can always double-stack the books, too, if you need more room.
