So i have always wondered.. how authors of popular series feel about fans making manga, about their characters... doing the forbidden sweet stuff 😀

Personaly i would be like cool bro.
But imagine if the author is like a homophobic... that would suck 😛

Thank gawd for Doujinshi's <3
i would die without my NaruSasu <3

also i wonder how hardcore readers of naruto and stuff, who like are anti-yaoi,
feel about the Doujinshi's...

as far as the authors are concerned, some of them might feel flattered that their manga is popular enough that fans want to create their own stories about it. i feel like its a sign that the manga is really good and that the fans are obsessed with it. or at the same time, they may not take djs that seriously. like i'm not sure if a homophobic author would really get pissed off if his/her characters were made gay

i usually stay away from doujinshi but i was wondering how other people feel about it since i know its popular. do you only read doujinshi for manga that you have read or do you read any doujinshi. for me, i stay away from dj because i usually haven't read the original manga. like naruto and bleach are really popular but i haven't read them so i dont read their djs. i know its not always necessary to read the original, but i feel like it doesn't have the same impact to read a dj for a manga that you're not familiar with

^ above

manga world is harsh man.
if ur manga is popular enough to create a doujinshi from a small-sect interest such as yaoi fangirl i'll be dancing in joy.

unless of course, you're an author of kuroshitsuji, Demon Diary, tsubasa chronicle (fai/kurogane) that's just crying out to be made into yaoi doujinshi.
but than again if u made thoses story than u must not be homophobe.

reader on the other hand are not very kind AT ALL

Some doujinshi are decent.. Like Slam Dunk dj - Deep Purple is a best example of Doujinshi I am talking about.

Any suggestion for a decent doujinshi like one above?

I agree with the above.
Though, I add that some of them probably don't even care :3
I would personally be flattered and happy.

I follow Naruto closely, but I've never actually read any doujinshi of it. I think I've read max. 10 manga doujinshis since I read my first manga (many years ago). I've read game doujinshis however (my favorite Togainu no Chi) and very much adore them.
Oh, and I'm not in the anti-yaoi group xD
