I ran a search and didn't find this topic. Sorry if there already is one. Okay, basicly asking what Anime are better than or superior to the manga version. Please only list Anime that started as Manga.

I've read that Maburaho is better in the Anime. The ranking/reviews tend to agree. Any others?

No idea about Maburaho, but the Eureka seveN anime is waaaay better than the manga.

Defintely Ouran High School Host Club. I watched the anime and couldn't believe how much more funnier it was in the anime comparing it to the manga

TRULY EPIC

Mushishi, the manga is great but the anime is incredible. That being said the anime doesn't cover the whole manga.

I typically prefer anime in general to manga. That said, often anime adaptations screw up the endings of certain manga or just cut things off entirely. It's hard for me to name many cases where I've experienced both and prefer the anime.

I guess the only one I can clearly say is with Death Note. I prefer the anime ending, and I just think it seems more intense as an anime. Less time is even spent on the far less engaging later story arc, which is a good thing.

Additionally, the Hellsing OVA series may be better than the manga (It's far from complete right now though), just because of the quality of the production.

FLCL is the only one. Which I think ironic because it came before the manga.

I do tend to watch anime for action scenes. Though even those can be screwed. sigh 😢
