jiraaja once said there must be a reason why the 4th sealded the nine tails in his own son. mayby naruto has a special powers that noone exept the 4th know abouth and that it someway related to his mother. maybe a bloodline limit power . a power surpassing maybe madara sharingan and pain rinnegan. maybe the 4th saw narutos mother perrform a powerfull bloodline limit power and he thought that naruto also inherited that power and thus sealing the nine tails in naruto. thats what i have been thinking. no the 4th must have a good reason because he looks smart and a good guy 😕 😕 🙄

But being on topic, I don't really think so, I mean, what is told in the first volumes of Naruto make sense. I mean, Yondaime wanting Naruto to become a symbol of Konoha. But well, the circumstances aren't quite clear, and if he used his own child to seal Kyuubi in, it should have been a hard decision to make. I think Naruto's mother died in the fight agains Kyuubi probably, or maybe when giving birth to him, who knows, I hope this gets explained somewhere, hopefully in some gaiden saga.

Plus if he got a bloodline limit from his mom it would be known since he uses her last name and everyone knows family names of ones with genetic abilities.

if he has a bloodline limit user ability it would have prolly shown up by now if it were intentional to the plot and if kishi were to put in the possiblty then i think it would show up waaayyy l8r in the manga. and also itachi insterted some of his sharingan into naruto so i guess naruto a KIND OF a bloodline limit user!!! (technically!)

As PeinXKonan said, if he had a bloodline limit then it would have shown earlier when he fought tough battles. If Kishi suddenly wrote/drew that out for future chapters then he'd be just as bad as Kubo. Plus bloodline limits are genetic and there are no mentions of Minato having any bloodline limits (or at least not that I remember) and they hardly mention Kushina. All Naruto has is the Kyuubi inside him.

That's an interesting thought but I certainly hope he doesn't. One of things I like best about the character is that Naruto gets to where he is strength wise through his own hard word (except for the Nine-Tails power which he can't really use safely anymore.) I hope we will find out more about his parents in the future because there isn't really a lot of information about them although they have at least started to elaborate on his father.

I don't think he does have an actual bloodline limit, but don't be surprised if Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu, or Susano'o are used if he ever sees Madara's face. When he fought Itachi alone, Itachi said something like "I'm giving you some of my power." It'll likely be an automatic action, like when Sasuke used Amaterasu as Tobi took his mask off, but you shouldn't be surprised or upset when it happens, since it's already set up.

The only bloodline limit I see in Naruto is stupidity, and the fixation on brawling like a drunken Irish at a pub (sorry for the Irish people out there in the world, but its the best comparison I can think of)

I don't think so...bloodline limit user are nature talents...Naruto isn't meant to symbolize someone like that...although he is a fast-learner and has large chakra resources (which means great endurance). This is the greatest advantage he has in a fight against a sharingan user...

If he were able to control kyuubi's power...there woulb be nobody who can stand up against him...

Maybe the power Itachi gave him grants Naruto to access the full power of kyuubi without him losing his mind...who knows)

maybe the kyubii is supressing his bloodline limit if he has one.
and that is the real reason his father put it into him.
because his father was the only one who knew about his Naruto's mothers bloodline limit. because she is original from the hidden land of whirlpool, wich is destroyed, and i think that it's destroyed, because of the bloodline limit. But it's all just a guess

Nah... he just have too much chakra in him, enough to supress even the chakra of the Kyuubi. That's why the 4th can only seal it in Naruto since no one else had that kinda strength.

If i'm not mistaken Kakashi even mentioned that Naruto has like a hundred times more chakra than him during his training Rasen Shuriken if not for supressing the Kyubii chakra 😎
