Not true, because I despise shopping.

I will only shop when I have to. I do not go out and choose to shop if I can get away with it.

In regards to the question, probably women in general because most these days are into fashion and shoes so badly they have to buy the new ones that come out every season etc. Of course that's not the case for everyone, but when I observe the shopping cities etc. I tend to see more women than men flying around from shop to shop.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
If you wanted the poll to actually show the results for your question, you should have just stuck to Male and Female options only.

man. many women may buy much stuff, but the stuff men buy is more expensive. I know people who collect games, cars ; are going to a bike tour in the sahara every summer (yes, my neighbour does and i don´t know how e is able to do it), etc

Humm....I think man and woman with the same acquisitive power will spend about the same, but normally men tend to have more money, so they spend more.

Now if you are talking about couples that share an account...If both of them work they will spend the same, if only one of them works then the one that doesn't work will spend more. Since there are more non-working women than men, women spend more

Are meaning over time or per shopping trip?

Over Time: Women spend more over time. They buy lots of little things that add up fast.

Per Shopping Trip: Men spend more per shopping trip. Since men typically only go shopping for something and only get that one thing, you would think that the receipt would be low. But I think it's higher than a woman's receipt since most likely the man is going for a really pricey item [TV's, cars, etc.]

It really depends on the person, but I chose "same". Women spend more on little things; makeup, shoes, clothes(though some buy the designer crap). Men, on the other hand I've observed (at least where I live) that they spend more on things like cars, gaming systems, sport utility vehicles, "toolshed" stuff, etc. I'd say most comparisons between man and woman would equal out.
I hate the stereotype that women are thrifty spenders... not every woman's a shopaholic bigrazz I hate crowds and shopping!

Women. Easily.

There's a reason most businesses cater to women more than men.

Well depends really, what your saying is pure conjecture at best. It’s easy to refute this fallacy, because as for me, I only shop when I have to; not because of a habit, but rather when necessity calls for it. It's easy to make this hypothesis based on female statistics. laugh

My opinion based sololy on seterotypes I'd say women. Based on my experiance I'd still say women. I spend little on myself while my female friends talk about getting this or that atleast everyother day.
