It got horrible and I highly doubt it'll improve anytime soon...and wasn't there some article about how Shounen Jump tries to catch more female readers? So "some" Shounen are to be made more "girl-friendly"?

yeah, i really felt like i discovered something really good when i started reading shonen mangas. but seinen was an even better discovry for me. not to say that its better. its just more real even when dealing with unreal or supernatural things. and every title is completly diferent. shonen tends to follow some rules that makes all of them similar in some ways.

when you talk about the current arc of bleach sucking, do you mean the manga or the anime?

I like Bleach but I droped the anime cuz I hated the stupid filler's. . .

And the manga, well I'm just waiting for xmas vacation so I can catch up~

Oh dear! Then what's the point of making it a shounen manga. Even though I'm a girl reading Bleach, I only read it cuz of all the action(hey! girls like a fight here and there.). But I definatly do not want to see all the lovey-dovey crap on Bleach cuz that would ruin the point of it being a shounen manga. And if girls want to see fighting then so be it. They're probably just trying to make more money by catering to 100% of an age group instead of only 50%. But that only worsens the comic, and I'm a girl who likes shounen too.

I'm girls and i think read Bleach is very well for me 😛 so I love it very much 🙂
I like Naruto, too . Athough I am a girls but I like read shounen manga

Yep, they want to make more money. manga magazines are losing money nowadays... i guess we all know why 😐 .

I'm a girl and I love Bleach. In fact I pretty much like every shounen manga... not a huge han of shoujo though. 😁

Ok, let's see...

1. Bleach for girls:
   -bishies (most shinigamis are handsome or even very handsome. Kubo Tite perfectly knows how to draw ugly guys, but he chose to create pretty ones)
   -hint of romance
   -protagonists having weird family circumstances
   -female protagonist being saved
   -again, female protagonist, a really clumsy and dumb one, getting to play an important role in the story ( quite a definition of shoujo manga...)
   -cute toys and kids
   (girls, don't kill me for that)

2. Bleach for boys:
   -spectacular fights
   -respect for training and hard work
   -army-like divisions
   -great leaders
   -boys first being rivals, then friends (without all that cute crap we see within girls friendships in shoujo mangas)

And many, many more. I'm too tired to write them down now.
Both boys and girls can find something interesting for them in Bleach and that's all that matters.

Lol, the reasons you stated in Bleach for boys are what I like about it. And yeah, Kubo Tite does know how to draw bishies, and I thank him for that. ^_^
