I don't think it was specified in the manga that she died, and yet she ditched him.

theres a rumor that tsunade is narutos mom. ive always wondered where iruka got his scar. what did he do? fall out of his crib as a baby? i mean its been there since he was little but where did it come from?

Naruto's mom is dead. I forgot what her name was but he gets his last name from her, most likely to keep the children of Konoha from knowing who his father was. Its explained in the chapter before Jiraya goes off to fight pein and during one of his flashbacks during that fight.

It has already been confirmed in the manga that Naruto's dad

IS the 4th Hokage Namikaze Minato and his mom is Uzumaki Kushina from the "former" Hidden whirlpool village...Naruto takes his looks from his father while personality from his mother

same reason no one realized clark kent is superman (takes off glasses)or any of the sailor scout's identeties (puts on a tiara)

cause it's a highly anticipated fight. and everyone is expecting some amazing fight and everyone knows an amazing fight must be at least seven chapters.
