I've been looking for manga you never get tired of. What are your favorite 5? Why?

1) Totally Captivated - The plot and art are both quite good. I love the genre that has mafia, so Mookyul is the hottest guy ever. I also like the love triangle between Ewon's friend. Overall it is super cute and hilarious.
2) Jazz - This manga has a combination of sadness, happiness, anger, love, hatred and more. as I read, the manga overwhelmed me and I could not stop reading. Both characters are very loving and it just makes me want to be a person in their world.
3) Vasslord - This is the most sensual manga I have ever seen. Although the characters never have sex, the scenes portrayed are very sexy. I personally think tat this could be the best vampire manga ever.
4) Okane ga Nai - Like I said before, mafia and me go together. Although Kanou is not in the mafia, he definitely gives off the feeling. The chibi drawings are adorable and the story of debt really go together. Right now, I'm still watching it, and I am overwhelmed by the things that are going on.
5) Bónd(z) - The first chapter is the best one-shot ever. The rest of the chapters are stupid, but the first one is just awesome. Sex Buddies that try out every position and do it anywhere is just awesome. Then at the end when they meet again almost made me cry. I love the complete turn of events and the art.

(i) Yoneda Kou's Doushitemo Furetakunai because of its endearing simplicity of plot (which does not translate into a boring and base story at all), its lovable and finely fleshed out characters and its witty speech and storytelling; the art is great too. It's absolute love for me.

(ii) Hideyoshiko's Udagawachou de Mattete yo. mostly because I find the relationship between the main couple absolutely unhealthy and yet perfectly developed, to the extent that you reason with the potentially-damaging part of it and find a compromising way to accept their love. I'm also extremely attracted to Momose's personality, though both main characters have great potential from a psychoanalytic point of view.

(iii) Nobara Aiko's Akiyama-kun because it's out of this world haha; it has a rather unique couple and they have unbelievable chemistry. Of course this depends largely on what you read but, from my standpoint, it breaks a lot of norms in its portrayal of the uke-seme dynamics and I love it. It's also really sexy and the art is awesome.

(iv) Ichikawa Kei's Slow Starter (which is Shonen-ai, btw) because there hasn't been one single time whenever I reread it that I don't find something new: a new meaning to an expression, a new emotion to what has been said, and so on. It has a slow pace but it doesn't drag, it makes me laugh a lot and my heart tighten a little bit, haha. Above all, it's a refreshing take on young school love that I had long given up on. I'll forever be in love with Kiyo and Ino.

(v) Inariya Fusanosuke's Giglio because of its beautiful depiction of a brute, senseless, painful beast and a tortured, devoted soul in their anguished and insatiable thirst for human contact (aw, what lovely thing I just wrote); but seriously, I've read complains about how this manga is so short and lacking (thus underdeveloped) but I could not disagree more. In both artistic and literary terms, it's one of the best accomplished one-shots out there.

Every other time I find this apparently awesome manga that I'm almost 100% sure I could die for but that I forget about in the course of time

Of course there are other titles worthy of being in this list so I'm hoping this topic gets a lot of answers

Komatta - I just love this manga and all its fluffiness. I'm a fan of slow romance so that's why I love this.

Ameiro Paradox - I like the couple's relationship! It's cute! It's funny and both of them has a development unlike in other that the uke is the only one that grows.

Castle Mango - Hands down, the story is amazing! I really really like it! It's cute and fluffy! The characters are also likeable!

Hana wa Saku Ka - This manga is just beautiful. Art wise and story wise! A must read! My favorite from Hidaka Shoko's works. The dialogues are lengthy but they are worth the read!

Totally Captivated - You already said what I like about this manhwa XD

Kuchizuke wa Niji no Ue de really cute story

Renai Sousa I like that they're equal

Ringo ni Hachimitsu and its sequel Kare no Barairo no Jinsei
they're by the same author as Udagawachou de Mattete yo. which I also like

These are some I find myself reading over again:

Boku no Shiru Anata no Hanashi - I think what appeals is how Shibusawa can't turn Haato away, and how Haato is so unreserved in his feelings.

Hydra - I find all of MIYAMOTO Kano's stories to be rereadable, but this one just pulls me in.

Ikenai Otoko - When I want something nice and dirty.

Kozure Ookami (INOUE Satou) - Two masculine men who find themselves falling in love, facing difficulties, sorting things out, plus a terrific side story.

Tengoku e Ikebaii - Weird supernatural set-up that is an excuse to tell an involving story of regret and second chances.

This is just a mixed bag off the top of my head, could have listed many other titles, including some already mentioned - Totally Captivated, Vassalord (yummy!), and Ubawareru Koto Marugoto Zenbu.

I wanted to read all the mangas mentioned, and for some reason, Giglio caught my attention the most, so I read it.

*I tend not to read manga that are not completely scanlated because I get frustrated when i'm done and the next chapter won't be coming out until a month from now. Okane ga nai is an exception, because I started with the anime and couldn't ease my curiosity of what wuld happen next.*

Although, in a way, that's why I mentioned Giglio in the first place. It's one of those mangas that will always get something from the reader, some kind of reaction, no matter how much they dislike it, and that's why I can reread it again and again, haha. At least that's what I feel

As for the 'why' part of the question. I don't know. These series tend to be more memorable for me than any other. Maybe it is the way the authors presented the story was just my cup of tea.
