I think devil may cry 2 was actually intended for another game when it was first made but during development capcom wanted to build in franchise from devil may cry so they tweeked that game to make devil may cry 2. I got this information from a recent the xbox 360 IGN podcast.

True, but it was supposed to be a "Halo Killer," which it obviously wasn't. You should have seen how many copies of it were traded in to EB games and after 2 weeks (when I also traded my own copy in).

that was dmc 1. it was originally gonna be resident evil 4, but it became so radically different from the other RE games they decided to seperate it. DMC 2 came from DMC 1

the entire plot of FF tactics advance. anyone that's played the original (FF tactics) can see the story drop from huge political/romantic drama to bleh

Various Tenchu games, because I love the series so much and they've started getting worse. Though, the last one was ok other than the lack of content.

Most any game based on a manga or anime has been a disappointment.
Also, the end of assassins creed was a huge letdown

Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.
