I'm not looking for any particular genre, but an album style. I'm looking for albums where the transition between songs is seemless, or close too it...weird I know...
So any suggestions?
You say any genre, but posting something no one else here likes would be wasting forum space.... you need to be a bit more specific.
If you like electronic/club music.... then PM me if you want suggestions.

Looking for a Jazz album where the main focus is the drums. Something similar to Art Blakey - Drums Around The Corner. I would prefer Bop or Hardbop but any style of Jazz will do 🙂

Well... I didn't know whether I should post here or not..
I like classical music, the more Bach and Schubert stuff.. not the Strauss march thing...
I usully don't go for vocals, but if it's nice and tonned, like curch music..~
So...Suggestions are wellcomed...

A bit vague.... need more info to give proper recommendations.
Church?..... ever heard of Giovanni Battista Bassani.... try to search "Sonata da chiesa" in google/youtube.
Try Hugo Wolf (a bit hard to find on Youtube)
What about Brahms, Sibelius, René Leibowitz or Thea Musgrave.
Will try to add more later.

How can they rank Jazz drummers from best to worst? Srsly? It's like comparing Lester Young to Sonny Rollins to John Coltrane to Cannonball Adderly to Sidney Bechet. That's just not how it works.

I meant it as a list..... easier that typing lots of names.
I personally like Tony Williams.... many don't... but I do.

Another request from me :x
Looking for a chillout/instrumental hip-hop album mainly using Jazz samples, something similar to:
Mad Bunted Jazz - DJ Cam
Modal Soul - Nujabes.
Would prefer album suggestions as opposed to artist or tracks.
I also have an album suggestion of my own for everyone 🙂 Radio Moscow by Radio Moscow, album was produced by Dan Auerbach(The Black Keys). Was a suggestion that came up on last.fm and was surprisingly good. 😛

Thx for suggestion but already have all those albums :x and was thinking more electronic/instrumental with some vocal samples and the odd song with actual rapping. 😛

Nujabes has other albums out there... u may wanna search that.... it's hard to get something similar to Nujabes which isn't Nujabes.
I'm not a hip-hop connoisseur, by any stretch of the imagination.... but you may wanna search for remixes of Common songs on that Last.fm site of yours. Maybe something from De La Soul, perhaps.
If you don't mind chill-out with a combination of hip-hop, trip-hop, soul, and a bit of slow house.... you might wanna try the Back to Mine series by DMC.... specifically the Everything but the Girl mix.....

One of my faves... this one.
You might also wanna search for Bran Van 3000 ... I highly recommend them.

NOTE:
I'm not sure what the latest BV3000 album sounds like.... I was referring to their older albums.... Glee and Discosis..... Glee especially.
