let it fly, I've been running out of stuff to listen to, and I've been to lazy to find it, all help is appreciated.
Seeing as you asked for sax, I'll start with that
Charlie Parker
John Coltrane
Dexter Gordon
Sonny Rollins
Ornette Coleman
Ben WebsterAnd whatever you do, stay away from Kenny G.
Oh and The Thelonious Monk Quartet
😎
I already listen to the first four on that list so I'll check out Ornette Coleman and Ben Webster. You don't have to tell me about avoiding kenny G, that is a long established rule

that would be "Sleeping Lessons" by The Shins...
the only other zune song i can think of is "Lake Michigan" by Rogue Wave

Just a random suggestion or two.
I have been digging up some old stuff recently, and I have found Junior Kimrough. Awesome blues, gut wrenching and raw stuff.
Also, The Circle Jerks for anyone who wants some fast, loud, abrasive punk in their lives

If anybody's out for something hot, fast and Japanese, check out the work of Takeshi Terauchi. Most of his stuff that can be found is with the backing group, "The Bunnys," so searching for Takeshi Terauchi and The Bunnys is a good way to find some kickass surf rock. Old, old stuff, but good. Takeshi Terauchi is one of the guitarists that I worship.
Also, ahoaho mentioning blues brings me to this:
If you're into blues, try this on for size. It's MM's take on the genre, and, if you ask me, a gem. Be warned that it's also the only time MM has ever sounded like that, so getting their CDs for liking that song would be foolish, but as a song, it's incredible!

The main metalz that I listen to are thrash, old heavy metal, some groove, southern metal, doom, metalcore(sometimes) and sludge. I don't get into black/death/grindcore/deathcore/power metal. So if my likings coincide with yours send me a PM.

😲 I've always known that the antichrist would appear friendly....
This doesn't get your blood pumping in the least?
Now I know that some people just don't do some genres, in the same way that I don't do Hannah Montana and her built-band ilk, but, I mean, I can't help but wonder at somebody who could dislike the sheer power of power metal.
Perhaps I should let it pass this once; you display such good taste in other bits.
Which brings me to a group on the other end of the spectrum: Vampire Weekend!
Why? Because they make awesome songs like this, and proceed to wander about Paris playing them. So intense.
