I wasn't sure about making this a new topic since it's not very discussion provoking, but I had to say it somewhere: I noticed some time ago that we never see Ciel cry. Not even in flashbacks. Unless you count this, but I think that's just blood.

Just thought it was noteworthy that although we see Ciel in horrible situation after horrible situation and we even see him break down, we never see him cry. Kind makes me wonder if he's capable of it.

Yeah, I noticed too.

Probably because he is traumatized(Just look at what he's gone through)

And because he's tough, of course

It also makes me wonder what Sebastian would do if he was able to catch onto some sort of weakness like that, seeing as though he's a demon. He could probably make Ciel's life hell

haha. Never mind. I take that back. I was re-reading it, and I realized that he actually does cry, though it's in a flashback.

Though I still think it's odd that he doesn't cry in the present at all. It's not because he's tough, because like I said, we've seen him break down and become super vulnerable before. And when Sebastian died, it almost seemed like he was trying to make himself cry but couldn't (I know he was acting, but still).

I think maybe that his lack of tears is a sign of how he left his humanity behind. Or maybe it's a sign of how he never was human to begin with (if we're to take the words "ciel isn't here anymore" at face value). Anyway, just a thought. Sorry for wasting space 🤢

Here, here, and also here. It's just really unnoticeable-you have to look close.
