It's a spin-off manga created for the launch of a new magazine.
Other spin-offs will be: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden (from Naruto) by Kenji Taira, Chopperman (from One Piece) by Hirofumi Takei, Vongola GP (Grand Prix) Kuru! (from Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) by Toshinori Takayama, and Gourmet Gakuen Toriko (from Toriko) by Akitsugu Mizumoto.
Seems interesting and fun!

i liked it...it looks interesting...i like that goku is a kid again and not super overpowered where everyone can destroy planets with a snap of a finger

Oh yeah, I remember hearing about that new magazine. And when I first heard about Toriyama making new Dragonball chapters, I thought that it would be a tie-in to the MMO that he was working on.

the art, in my opinion pops out to much. The story is a copy off of dragon ball, but it skips alot, but really, it's not that bad...well...what can I say? IT WAS BASED ON DRAGON BALL!!

dragon ball SD?! why would they create another spin-off? the art is different...similar yet very very different..I wonder why..

lol @ everyone freaking out about the different art and story
You all apparently didn't read Dragonball, just watched Z. It's not even a "spin-off" (yet, anyway). This is literally a remastering and abridging of the original Dragonballl.
