did you try cover it with sellotape? once my moms car was hit, and was about to fall apart, and she somehow managed to keep it together till it was fixed with my sellotape...
looked like crap, but somehow worked.

Why don't you open the door side and put it up yourself? You have a beetle righ? You can fix nearly anything in it with pliers and a piece of wire 😀
By the way moritana if you like rain you should go to the state of SC since it is known for having rain for a week steaight, but if you like somewhere if the clima weather closer to Israel you shoul go to Foz do Igaçu - PR, but be careful! When it rains it really rains, like flooding the streets.

lol storms can really get that strong. There were times when I though that our whole roof would be blown away. I sort of miss the storm from the tropics. >_< Those are like instant holidays. But not really.

It is the kind of roof tha uses these kind of tile. Also the house is in a hill so the wind hits violently in the front side. And also the is a "break" in the roof so the tiles from above fell on the tiles from beneath... Talking about bad luck...

It is summer here, I was wondering in which season you would be since you live near the beach like you sayd, but through your post I think it is winter or alike... But in here sometimes in the winter it gets hot enough to dive so for you must be the same 😀

In here the water is usually warm and since it is a cove the waves are small, although yesterday they were strong enough to make me spin while trying to catch one 🤣 . What you descrived sounds like the beaches from south those are real killers and I do mean killers.

thats the beach in south israel...
must be nice having quiet beaches to dive in... here i have a beach really close to my house, but only fishers dive there since there is nothing good to see, its mainly for swimming and tanning....
