So I just got smacked in the face by my schedule: At school from 8 to 5 everyday, +at least 3h homework. Which means I'm pretty much either doing schoolwork/studying or sleeping. So, in midst of this, I need to cut out any unnecessary uses of time (like going on this site and posting polls).

So ppl, how's your time management?

I'm pretty good w/time management, I guess.

The more I have going on, the better I am about getting things done efficiently - which means that when I'm slammed with stuff to do, I get a TON done, but when there's not so much needing to be done, some days I hardly get anything done. (_)

Before, i would go on the computer to write an essay and finish it six hours later. I can easily say that only one hour was devoted to my studies. When i entered high school i got better at it because of some advice a valedictorian told me. He was able to take 15 AP classes in high school and be on the swim team. He told me that whenever you get a project, essay, homework, or test coming up... that's the first thing you want to do when you get home.

I would say passable.
I don't have habit of having all my activity being scheduled but I know which one is important to be done. So, I'll know which one to give priority to.

As for studies. I usually focus in school so, I don't have to devote all time at home for studies. I also have habit of studying on last minute, but I still get good result. When I get home, I'll finish my homework first anyway.

For other things I'll just follow according to my mood like posting to the site, watching tv or movie.

Mine's pretty bad, probably reaching terrible.

I'm always leaving everything to the last minute. Like now, I have 100 words that I have to visualise, whether it's a drawing or a 3D paper sculpture. I was given the assignment on monday. I've done 25 out of 100 so far. I've got until tuesday to complete it.
Probably have to bust out a couple of sleepless nights to complete it now 🤣

I wasn't any better when I was studying either, or with homework. I got worse as the years go on. I'm a lazy sod. I will find the time to do the things that I enjoy.

Pretty bad, I've come to realize.

I use to have this great P.A (personal assistant) who always managed my appointments. I'm the type of person that's pretty hard to work with; I often refuse to work in the mornings (either due to my hatred of the early morning sun or my extremely low blood pressure) and prefer a schedule totally upside down from the rest of the working population. Fortunately, people dependent on my line of work are often very flexible (or they're just as weird as I am), and my old P.A somehow made use of that fact and my schedules were almost always magically balanced. She always made sure I had enough sleep and was almost telepathic in reading my thoughts/moods.

Her husband got a job overseas and she (reluctantly) moved with him, and my schedule has been a mess ever since. Just when I think I've got things sorted, there's this client/job that crawls out of the woodwork and throws my entire week into a hellish mess. I've gotten better at it (no choice, really) but I doubt I'll ever reach the same level of equilibrium. Seriously, me having the time to come on this forum on a non-Sunday afternoon is a miracle in itself.

That's so sad, gan. 😔

As for my time management...
I'm good at TM games.

When it comes to managing my time in real life though, I'm basically useless.
Can't manage anything. Everything is a mess.
Unless I have a shitload of things to do. Then I just do them...
As soon as I get time to breath, I go back to my natural state - which is lazy.

The worst of it is that I actually made a plan for doing things.
But I never follow it.
Sigh...

Time management eh?

Well, I'm really good... at procrastinating. There's just one problem. As good as I am at procrastinating, I just can't seem to procrastinate... later.

(Lame joke, I know)

I don't time manage...

Example: Today, I have washed about 4-5 hours worth of dishes and 5 loads of laundry... which I avoid like the plague... because I have a rough draft for my definitional essay due in 5 hours and 20 minutes (have not started... not even the topic... printer might not work... can't be late).

Ack! I have bad time management, I guess ( keep postponing all my work to the last day!)
But not only do I manage time badly, I also can't judge how long stuff takes to complete. I left my Chinese Assignments to complete on the LAST day at night thinking it will only take 30 minutes but sadly, it took around 3 hours!!!! T.T
Though, compared to other people's time management, maybe I manage time okay... Because some people have stuff overdue whilst I just rush things and complete it on the last day...

Terrible. Things tend to be done in some form on time, but that form is generally a hacked apart version of what it was meant to be and there's a huge amount of wasted time in between.

If I could manage time I wouldn't be here right now. I'd be working on the thing I really need done and polished within the next few hours.

... goddammit.

I got on the computer to do school work one day and well I somehow ended up in the bathroom taking pictures of my eye.

So yeah I'd say my time management (and work ethic) is not up to par.

I really shouldn't have taken online classes this semester 😲

I would say I'm decent.
I never get homework overdue.
But I usually push it off for as long as I can. Not always, but usually.

Well... let's just say I never turn in my essays in time. And I have a bad habit of postponing things for years.

Things usually come out the right way though. Eventually.
